What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks TDS Senior Architect/Developer, AVP in Whippany, New Jersey (multiple positions available):

•    Responsible for architecture design of enterprise-class distributed, micro-service & cloud based application 
•    Translate high level solutions into high quality technical artefacts; supports the Liquidity business within Risk, Finance and Treasury in delivering its strategic objectives within the constraints of a regulatory environment 
•    Active and positive contributor to model/design storming sessions, sprint demos, planning sessions and retrospectives
•    Contribute to the definition of development standards, patterns and techniques
•    Non-production development and test environment setup and management, Big-data solution design and optimization 
•    Help drive the adoption of Lean and Agile techniques
•    Onboard and manage new developers to the team; work with the system Team Leader, Product Owner and project manager to build the project backlog, ensure that requirements are sufficiently detailed to be assigned to developers 
•    Plan and delegate development cycles and deployment preparations and coordinate activities with the Run the Bank team
•    Perform design and code reviews for the global development team
•    Perform test plan and test script reviews and sign-off for the global test team
•    May telecommute

What we’re looking for:

•    Employers will accept: a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
