Barclays Bank Delaware seeks Assistant VP, Risk Acquisition in Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available):
Perform statistical analysis and utilize comprehensive knowledge of analytical skills to analyze, validate, track, and monitor delivered projects and provide recommendations to optimize Acquisitions programs.
Independently monitor credit performance to identify existing and future credit risks.
Check and Challenge strategy proposals formulated by 1st line of Defense to ensure they are sound and meet the hurdles.
Evaluate data using statistical analysis techniques and incorporate score implementations supporting launch.
Produce robust documentation to ensure replicability of results and fulfill governance requirements.
Work with the Risk Group Lead to support customized credit risk management processes, strategy implementation and validation, and partner-level performance tracking for both internal and external reporting to optimize firm risk.
Provide project specific leadership in evaluating existing third-party data sources, partner data, and new data sources and incorporating them in credit risk management processes.
Work with Segment, Strategic Analytics, and Decision Science staff to ensure project completion within agreed time frames and end-client satisfaction.
May telecommute.

To manage and optimise the bank's overall credit risk exposure by monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the creditworthiness of its lending portfolio.
