What will you be doing?

Barclays Bank Delaware seeks Data Analyst, VP in Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available):

  • Drive acquisitions strategy and optimize investment decisions for the Cobrand card business.
  • Responsible for analytics to drive profitable new account growth and optimize investment decisions across offer, targeting, and partner risk/reward valuations.
  • Provide analytical support to key partners while providing thought leadership to identify business opportunities.
  • Work with cross functional teams to support business strategy and stakeholder management to ensure timely completion of initiatives.
  • Execute the analytical framework to support strategic directive within both the Partnership Segment and the Credit and Data Analytics team.
  • Create, assemble and monitor key performance indicators that measure value across the Partnership Segment for programs and initiatives.
  • Perform primary and secondary analysis to identify both short-term and long-term growth and profitability opportunities.
  • Identify areas for enhancement and develop reporting tools to track key performance indicators across the Partnership Business.
  • Use analytics, optimize population, offer and channel strategies through profit and lost statistics to support overall portfolio growth.
  • Collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders to identify new opportunities for profitable portfolio growth.
  • Meet with vendors and business partners to identify new sources of data and drive incremental value.
  • Provide business updates to the partnership leadership team on a continuous basis.
  • Proactively problem solve and develop best in class monitoring and tracking frameworks.
  • Manage up to two (2) direct reports, overseeing their work to ensure business deliverables are met timely and accurately.
  • May telecommute.

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources. 

Accountabilities

  • Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
  • Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
  • Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
  • Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
  • Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
