In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the outsourced Asset Servicing operating model, ensuring that external vendors consistently deliver to the high standards expected by Barclays. You will provide robust governance, challenge, and oversight across all outsourced processes, ensuring strong risk management, regulatory alignment, and operational excellence. This is a critical, high‑visibility role that requires deep asset servicing expertise, strong judgment, and the ability to confidently oversee third‑party performance.
To be successful as an Asset Servicing Oversight & Governance Manager, you should have:
Strong Asset Servicing SME knowledge.
A proven track record of instigating and implementing change.
Strong risk management and governance capabilities.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of Barclays systems or similar large‑scale operational platforms.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working within an oversight function, ideally vendor or outsourced service oversight.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Glasgow.
