Explore locationJoin us as a Data Analyst for Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management, where you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to analyse large datasets, identify trends and patterns, and ensure data is effectively mapped and translated into meaningful insights that drive business value.
The role will include analysing and interpreting large and complex datasets, working with stakeholders to gather requirements and map data, supporting data modelling and the delivery of insight-driven solutions.
To be successful as a Data Analyst, you should have experience with:
• Data mapping and data modelling with the ability to translate business requirements into structured data solutions leveraging diverse and complex datasets
• Data analysis including strong SQL skills and/or other programming languages (e.g. Python, R) including advanced MS Excel
• Knowledge of Financial Services Data Domains and journeys
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Experience with data governance including data quality controls
• Stakeholder management experience including requirements elicitation with good communication skills to present complex topics to senior audiences
• Experience with visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView) to create reports and dashboards

This role will be based in Glasgow.

To enable data-driven strategic and operational decision making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports.
