Join Barclays and become part of the APAC Liquid Financing Product team, where you will play a pivotal role in the Product Development for our equity, derivative and fixed income products within the Liquid Financing Prime Brokerage business.
Be a Subject Matter Expert for the Liquid Financing Business from front to back (products, trading strategies, market regulations, platform design and post-trade processes).
Design and drive implementation of product/platform solutions in response to client and internal stakeholder issues/requirements, as well as market and regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all product development activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays operational risk framework and internal Barclays policies and standards.
Essential Skills:
Strong knowledge of how trading business operate - from execution, risk management, financing and clearing business activities to the Regulatory environment impacting them.
A resourceful, self- motivated team player who is able to escalate appropriately when required and has strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate at all levels and across multiple areas within the firm.
Ability to develop effective solutions to support new business initiatives, market and regulatory changes.
Oversee escalations closely where infrastructure teams are involved (i.e. IT, Operations).
Ability to make decisions with a client centric and a risk & control centric mindset.

Purpose of the role
To develop, launch, and manage the portfolio of financial products and services for the global markets, collaborating with a team of product managers, traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to define product strategies, develop roadmaps, and bring new products to market, also playing a key role in gathering and analysis of market intelligence, identifying client needs, and developing competitive differentiators.
