Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Senior Enhanced Due Diligence Manager - Fintech VP, where your main priority will be understanding the AML/CTF/ABC Risks to Barclays in its Fintech relationships. You'll work alongside relationship teams and CDD delivery teams to deliver end to end KYC for the client, including assessing the level of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) required and conducting EDD reviews. Additionally, you'll be creating EDD reviews of Fintech relationships maintained by the Investment and Corporate Bank, analyzing the findings of the reviews, and making recommendations to the Risk Forum for maintenance of a relationship. You will deliver reports that will allow senior management within the business to make decisions on On-Boarding; taking key presenter roles at Governance Forums within the Business. In this exciting role, you will have the ability to review and analyze complex documentation and analyze different MI sources whilst building quality relationships across stakeholders in the US, including Coverage, Compliance, Fincrime, Sanctions and legal.
To be successful as a Senior Enhanced Due Diligence Manager - Fintech VP, you should have experience with:
Enhanced Due Diligence or other relevant areas
Making recommendations, responding to challenges, and providing reasoned arguments to support recommendations
Understanding the complex AML/CTF and ABC risks presented by our clients and assessing whether the controls in place provide sufficient mitigation for Barclays to do business with them
In-depth knowledge of AML, CTF, ABC risks
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Ability to work unsupervised and be able to use initiative to solve often complex problems
Ability to speak confidently at Forum meetings and engage with internal and external stakeholders
Relevant AML/CTF or ABC qualifications i.e. ACAMs would be a plus
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in New York.
Minimum Salary: $145,000
Maximum Salary: $200,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
Purpose of the role
To provide data-led expert oversight and check and challenge on business and compliance matters to evidence that the organisation is operating in a compliance with Barclays legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities.
