Explore locationJoin us as an AI Product Manager at Barclays where you'll be primarily responsible for planning, delivering, and managing AI-driven products or features, with a great focus on roadmaps, prioritisation, and execution. You will translate business needs into product requirements, leveraging your understanding of AI fundamentals, data analytics, and market insights to support product development. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll coordinate delivery using tools like Jira while building robust relationships and ensuring clear communication. You’ll play a key role in supporting product success, contributing to continuous improvement and the broader AI product agenda.
To be successful as an AI Product Manager, you should have experience with:
Proven experience in product ownership and end-to-end product management, supporting delivery from concept through to implementation
Great planning, organisational, and project management skills, including experience using Jira to manage backlogs and maintain product roadmaps
Experience in sprint planning and agile delivery, ensuring effective prioritisation and execution of work
Confident stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate plans, priorities, and progress to a range of audiences
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Understanding or exposure to coding, Machine Learning, or AI concepts, supporting effective collaboration with technical teams
Awareness of commercial considerations, with an understanding of how product decisions contribute to business value and outcomes
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based in either London, Glasgow or Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
