In your role, you will be responsible for driving project improvement for the liquidity risk framework, reviewing and inquiring the 1st line's processes, and developing new control processes. This is an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your risk project guidance abilities and engage across products, business lines, and US regulators.
To be successful as a Liquidity Risk Manager - VP, you should have experience with:
Understanding of liquidity risk concepts (e.g., LCR, NSFR, internal stress testing)
In-depth understanding of global regulatory frameworks
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to internal liquidity risk practices
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Ability to communicate multi-faceted risk issues clearly to senior stakeholders, regulators, and business partners
Ability to influence strategy-making at the VP level and support risk culture development
Familiarity with climate risk, ESG considerations in liquidity planning, or resolution planning
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in the New York, NY office.
Minimum Salary $150,000
Maximum Salary $200,000

Purpose of the role
To safeguard the bank's financial stability by assessing, managing and mitigating liquidity risk, which revolves around the bank's ability to meet its short-term financial obligations and access funding at reasonable rates in different market conditions.
