To be successful as an "AVP - Procurement Operations", you should have experience with:

  • Completion of a formal degree, commerce stream is preferable. 
  • Some accounting background and India invoice processing and payment is preferrable. 
  • Relevant experience in managing global P2P functions of large organizations with experience in P2P process.
  • Expert working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access and Power Point skills .
  • Should have worked as a lead responsible for delivering key global system and platform changes for multinationals of comparable scale and complexity. 
  • Good understanding of the Procurement and Strategic Procurement Processes and the business application of sourcing software. 
  • Good exposure in Programme/ system and Change management to lead design and implementation of change management.
  • Pragmatic with a logical and flexible approach to problem resolution . 
  • Develops effective peer & working relationships within/ across teams.  
  • Leverages understanding of customers/ consumers/ suppliers/ stakeholders to inform business decisions.  
  • Technology conversant to manage and help implement change and promote the use of new technology proven to provide cost reducing or value creating support.   
  • Self-starter, working on a broad brief, and happy to design proactively.  

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including client facing and internal.  
  • The ability to identify, address and where necessary escalate/manage key risks and issues.   
  • Experience in people management to be able to build and sustain a motivated team.   
  • Should be able to develop guide Direct reports in their career planning and growth.  
  • Line management experience is essential leading teams in current role.

This role will be based out of Noida.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
