Embark on your next journey with Barclays as Executive Enablement Lead (VP),You will lead a high-performing production pod dedicated to translating executive narratives into high-impact presentations and strategic materials. You will be at the heart of the C&P COO organization, working closely with senior leaders to shape and communicate the business agenda, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment. As Executive Enablement Lead, you will own the intake and prioritization of executive requests, structure storylines, provide coaching and day-to-day leadership to junior team members, and deliver executive-standard outputs. The role sits within the Strategy & Execution team, which supports the delivery of the C&P COO’s strategy and offers the opportunity to collaborate globally, with exposure to senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and the business.

To be successful, you should have experience with:

  • Business management, strategy, or executive communications roles at VP level or equivalent.

  • Senior stakeholder engagement, shaping narratives, and influencing MD/D-level leaders.

  • Advanced deck production at executive level, including story arcs, headline writing, and synthesis from meeting notes.

  • Editorial judgement and copy refinement for communications to senior leaders, with a focus on brevity and impact.

  • Intake triage, prioritization of requests, and managing SLAs and version control.

  • Working knowledge of data visualization best practices and brand adherence.

  • Coaching and developing junior team members.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Commercial awareness and contextual understanding of Corporate Banking & Payments.

  • Strong business English and executive communications skills.

  • Ability to connect strategic themes and translate complex concepts into clear, impactful messaging.

  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., Co-Pilot) to accelerate content creation.

  • Ability to interpret meeting notes and briefings into decision-grade slides.

  • Project management, capacity planning, and stakeholder review processes.

  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Tableau or Python.

Purpose of the role

To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across various business units. 

Accountabilities

  • Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards using various data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes for improved efficiency and timeliness.
  • Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.
  • Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
  • Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data & seeking signoffs as required.
  • Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting.
