Step into the role of Assistant Vice President - Likezero at Barclays, where you'll provide first-class support by conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding our clients and organization with expertise and care.

You will play a key role in digitizing, codifying, and managing contractual terms and legal documentation, supporting our Contractual Terms Repository and leveraging the LikeZero platform.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

• Manage the legal documentation team and coordinate with LikeZero and Barclays SMEs for QA and process queries.
• Maintain governance, MI/reporting, and progress tracking for document digitization.
• Plan future phases of documentation scope and digitization.
• Ensure compliance with Barclays documentation standards, procedures, and escalation protocols.
• Coordinate change processes for data models and leverage data insights into negotiated documents.
• Lead data reconciliation activities between LikeZero and Barclays internal systems.
• Engage in technology discussions for future state architecture and contract management workflows.
• Oversee the development of SOPs and playbooks with SMEs.
• Review outputs from LikeZero and Data SMEs for accuracy of record setup.
• Provide guidance and coordinate with SMEs on queries and language interpretation.
• Run Query Surgeries with Legal GCS and other SME teams.
• Develop expertise in Barclays Master Trading Agreements (ISDA/GMRA/CSA/PBAs) and documentation standards.
• Support the creation of SOPs and playbooks for documentation processes.
• Collaborate on data model development for new document templates or attributes.

Desirable skill sets:

• Strong understanding of legal documentation, contract terms, and financial agreements (ISDA, GMRA, CSA, PBAs).
• Experience with data digitization platforms (e.g., LikeZero) and data reconciliation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance in data capture and review.
• Ability to interpret complex legal language and coordinate with subject matter experts.
• Familiarity with Barclays documentation standards, procedures, and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for insights and process improvements.
• Experience in developing SOPs, playbooks, and supporting technology-driven workflows.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.

  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.

  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.

  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.

  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.

  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.

  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Assistant Vice President Expectations
