Explore locationJoin us as a Data Analyst at Barclays where you will be working towards ensuring that the implementation of several Corporate Bank initiatives aligned with & adhere to the Corporate Data Strategy. This role will support stakeholders in understanding the nuances of the data strategy while working with business & technical SMEs to clarify the scope & impacts of the initiatives. Applying a business domain lens to the requirements of each initiative is key.
To be successful as a Data Analyst , you should have experience with:
Data Analysis using SQL.
Data Lakehouse / Warehouse Concepts.
Payments Data Domain Knowledge (SWIFT and ISO 20022).
Data Modelling Concepts.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Data analysis using Python .
Any Lakehouse technology like Snowflake, Databricks etc.
Awareness of standard project control tools, including JIRA, Confluence, etc.
Unix & ETL Concepts .
RDBMS Database concepts.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To enable data-driven strategic and operational decision making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports.
