FX IT UI Engineer

To be successful as a “FX IT UI Engineer", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• Excellent Knowledge of HTML5/ JavaScript  / CSS / SASS - particularly React/Redux.

• Experience of build and design UI in React and related technology.

• Experience of micro service architecture, cloud infrastructure and principles.

• Experience in working with HTML5 desktop containers e.g. Electron, OpenFin.

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.

• Experience of JavaScript unit testing practices.

• Contribute to the technical development approach of a project, ensuring a balance between cost, time, quality, and risk.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

• Experience in Java programming and sprint boot.

• Experience working with application containers e.g. Docker.

• A team player who takes initiative and can influence the development of the system.

• Full-lifecycle development of at least 1 large commercial system, with ideal candidate focusing on significant development of high-frequency trading or pricing systems in the FX spaces/IB.

• Experience gained in Foreign Exchange Cash Spot and Forwards, NDF products.

This role will be based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
