GenAI QA Engineer

To be successful as a GenAI QA Engineer , you should have experience with:

• Strong hands‑on experience in Python (and PySpark, where applicable), with proven ability to validate and assure production‑grade AI systems.

• Experience validating GenAI architectures, particularly RAG‑based solutions.

• Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets to support data‑led quality assessment and decision‑making.

• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

• Handson Automation of UI , API and Performance Testing to validate AI systems E2E in  regression pipelines.

• Exposure to Basic CI/CD deployment methodologies i.e gitops in gitlab/github/bitbucket

• Familiarity with a range of LLMs and GenAI ecosystems, such as GPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, and Gemini

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Hands‑on experience validating Agentic AI designs and deployments.

• Strong understanding of cloud‑based AI platforms, with hands‑on experience using AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, and platforms such as Snowflake Cortex AI.

• Exposure to LLMOps / MLOps, including CI/CD, observability, evaluation, and AI lifecycle management.

• Experience working in regulated environments, with strong understanding of AI governance, controls, audit readiness, and risk considerations.

• Experience validating AI outputs for hallucinations, bias, robustness, explainability, and edge‑case behaviour.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
