Explore locationJoin Barclays as an Infrastructure Engineer role, where you are responsible for enhancing existing processes, reporting and controls whilst ensuring the flawless execution of BAU. To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
Strong experience in QA – Automation and manual
Good understanding of BDD, Hands on experience in test automation development
Good knowledge of Python programming
Extensive knowledge of testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches.
Good with providing estimations, designing test plan and test strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs
Awareness on CI/CD and DevOps – Jenkins
Gitlab
Experience of using the Git source code control system
Excellent communication skills [verbal and written] are essential. Ability to communicate with the global team is essential
Able to identify processes and tools that will optimize and improve the quality of testing.
API test automation, XML Verification etc.
Good understanding of UI test automation tools e.g. Selenium, UFT, etc.
Some other highly valued skills may include below:
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
Jenkins pipeline scripting (Groovy or Jenkinsfile)
Performance testing tools (Locust)

This role is based in our Pune office.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
