To be successful as an Infrastructure Linux Engineer you should have experience with: -
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7,8 or 9 knowledge.
Red Hat Satellite experience.
Experience of Automation tools (Ansible).
Experience of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket)
Troubleshooting skills.
Ability to write, modify and debug shell scripts.
Ability to write plans and procedures in line with Change Control requirements.
Experience working in a critical 24/7 environment for example in the financial sector.
Experience in implementing industry security standards such as PCI-DSS and CIS compliance, preferably in an automated fashion.
Passionate about making improvements to the environment and a keen interest in self-development and learning new technologies.
Additional Linux qualifications eg RHCE.
Some other highly valued skills may include: -
Performance tuning.
Experience with security eg SSL, encryption hardware, certificates.
Application layer, particularly JBoss EAP.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Pune.
