To be successful as a Large Holdings Senior QA you should have experience with:
8+ years of total IT experience.
8+ years of experience with Automation testing projects.
Experience with SQL, Unix and Advanced SQL.
Good to have knowledge on the ETL testing.
Able to understand and derive the Functional and Non-functional testing requirement.
Should have knowledge of QA Automation framework and any scripting language.
Able to work well with IT developers in multiple locations and across other teams.
Knowledge of Agile development ‘best practices’ and the QA engagement strategy using Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem solving skills, able to shift priorities quickly.
Values-based approach.
Ability to understand architecture and derive the impact of change.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Must be independent and creative in approach to problems and issues and be proactive.
Ability to train others.
Flexible and hard working.
BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Physics, Maths or other relevant subjects.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience working in the Compliance or Risk domains.
Experience with TDD and BDD testing framework.
Experience with JIRA, QC for Project and task tracking.
Hands on experience with any scheduling tool.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
