As a Liquid Financing Senior IT Analyst, you will design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

To be a successful Liquid Financing Senior IT Analyst, you should have experience with:

• Hands on experience within Financial Markets and/or Investment Banking, Proven exposure to Fixed Income Financing and FICC Trading & Sales environments.

• Strong domain expertise across Fixed Income products, including Rates, Credit, Bonds, and Repo financing & should have demonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, functional design, and business architecture.

• Ability to design and shape solutions across both legacy and strategic technology platforms, Experience working across Agile, hybrid, and regulatory-driven delivery models.

• Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to simplify and articulate complex trading problems. Credible and confident communicator, effective with senior stakeholders.

• Strong ability to challenge constructively and influence informed decision-making.

Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:

• Experience leading regulatory remediation initiatives or control uplift programmes.

• Exposure to electronic trading platforms, sales tooling, pricing engines, or risk management systems.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
