To be successful as a Non-Functional Test Engineer you should have experience with:
Scripting experience in LoadRunner and Shell
Performance testing area in all the phases including resiliency testing
Understanding of DB fundamentals
Understanding of messaging tools like MQ and Kafka
All the phases of Non-Functional testing including test planning , approach identification, test design, scripting, test execution, defect management & reporting.
Resiliency testing
Analysing issues and providing right details to development teams.
Good communication skills
Exposure and experience in automation tools and automated execution tools like selenium, cucumber
Exposure to Performance tuning
Exposure to performance monitoring tools
Strong knowledge and experience in payments domain including MT/MX messages
Experience and strong understanding of SWIFT, Schemes and clearings
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Understanding Jenkins
Coding exposure
Knowledge of Payments domain is preferred
Knowledge of SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) supported applications is preferred.
Any gateway and/or ISO message handling application implementation knowledge
Hands-on in JavaScript / Java/ Spring boot
Ability to articulate and implement tactical and strategic solution
Ability to work with various stakeholders, defining work and managing expectations
Co-ordinate and communicate with colleagues to encourage ideas and build on the suggestions of others

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
Accountabilities
Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Creation and execution automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues. .
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested.
Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution.
Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
