To be successful as an Senior Analyst (IDO) at Barclays, you should have below critical skills.

  • Manage end to end vendor relationship, performance monitoring, and issue escalation.
  • Act as central point of contact between internal team and external vendor to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Oversee daily operational activities, ensure timely delivery, compliance, and service level adherence.
  • Coordination with cross functional team such as finance, operations, procurement, and senior management for seamless execution of task.
  • Track, manage and process vendor invoice, ensure accuracy and compliance with tax, finance, and internal policies.
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboard and updates to higher managements required.
  • Support process improvement and drive operational efficiency within the vendor management workflow.
  • Monitor vendor performance using defined KPI (Key performance indicator) and ensure adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreement).
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understating of agreement/contract, vendor compliance term, KPI, SLA.
  • Strong decision-making ability and readiness to take ownership of daily operational activities.
  • Quick learner with the ability to understand process, system and vendor related requirement.
  • Interaction skills with multiple internal and external teams.
  • Basic understanding of finance, taxation, and invoice processing.
  • Good with MS Office, ability to create report in PPT.
  • Flexibility in hours of work and ability to work changing shifts patterns.

This role is based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
