At Barclays, you'll spearhead the evolution of defining and executing the strategy, vision, and roadmap for data products that enable Barclays to leverage data as a strategic asset. This role ensures that data products deliver measurable business value, comply with governance standards, and support innovation across multiple business domains.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
Act as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders across technology, operations, and business units.
Influence decision-making and secure alignment on product priorities and investments.
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and timely delivery.
Oversee release planning, sprint prioritization, and coordination of cross-team dependencies.
Some of Highly Valued Skills may include:
Candidates with experience in Banking / Finance domain preferred.
Ensure adherence to data governance principles, privacy regulations, and security standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.
Track adoption, usage, and performance metrics to assess product success.
Recommend enhancements based on data-driven insights and emerging technologies.

Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
