Barclays Services Corp. seeks Application Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
1. Provide L2 application support for Payments and Consumer Lending.
2. Duties include: incident management and resolution, develop monitors and alerts, identify process improvement, change deployments, stakeholder management, process automation, people management and development.
3. Work with SRE capabilities and ensure the service is supported with best practices and drive the change needed to improve the existing processes.
4. Take bottom line responsibilities of all incidents (User reported, application or batch failures etc.).
5. Participate and drive complex and major incidents to resolution, root cause identification and Produce Technical Incident Post Mortem (TIPM) report.
6. Identify the repeat incidents / alerts / batch failures and raise pro-active problem tickets.
7. Own the problem management function and work on to reduce the open incidents / problems by implementing fixes, working closely with L3/BTB teams.
8. Review functional requirements, HLD, runbooks and provide RtB point of view by working closely with the project teams.
9. Ensure systems are built resilience-ready and work with project build team to complete the mandatory resilience testing for each component.
10. May Telecommute.
Salary/rate minimum: $179,982
Salary/rate maximum: $197,981
