Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Broker Dealer Financial Control Analyst at Barclays, where you'll have the chance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements through a timely, well‑controlled month‑end close and robust balance sheet substantiation. You’ll prepare financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS while delivering insightful analytical reviews to support transparent reporting. Partnering closely with Product Control, Regulatory Reporting, and Operations, you’ll address key issues impacting financial outcomes and support critical quarter‑end and year‑end deliverables. You’ll also engage with auditors to provide essential documentation, contribute to Finance control requirements, and drive continuous process improvements across the close cycle.
To be successful as a Broker Dealer Financial Control Analyst, you should have:
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience in Financial Control, Regulatory Reporting, or Audit within Financial Services
Experience with month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliation, and final statement preparation
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Professional qualifications and technical expertise, including CPA certification, public accounting audit experience, and strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
Financial products and reporting proficiency, with experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements and disclosures, supported by analytical skills and attention to detail
Systems and communication capabilities, including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Hyperion, and MS Access, paired with presentation abilities and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary: $80,000
Maximum Salary: $105,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To identify, assess and mitigate prudential regulatory reporting risks, provide oversight on regulatory reporting, and maintenance of open communication with regulators to ensure that the bank's activities and operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal control policies.
