The focus will be on mitigating risk, enhancing operational efficiency, maintaining adherence to budgetary requirements, and consistently demonstrating the highest standards of professional conduct. As an analyst, you will provide critical support to the firm’s proprietary credit businesses. Your responsibilities will encompass position management, fail management, daily reporting, and other operations control related services.

To be successful as a Credit Derivatives Middle Office Analyst, you should have:

  • Relevant experience supporting fixed income products, with a particular emphasis on the credit asset class

  • Demonstrated capability in fostering and maintaining effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients

  • Ample analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex operational challenges in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to perform under pressure in deadline-driven environments, maintaining accuracy

This role is based in Whippany, NJ.

Minimum Salary: $64,000
Maximum Salary: $87,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
