The USCB GTSM team is responsible for supporting multiple digital servicing web and mobile platforms. In this role, you will ensure platform stability, resolve incidents, and manage maintenance in line with ITIL best practices. You will mentor junior team members, apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve processes, and identify automation opportunities to enhance service delivery. A focus on reliability, efficiency, and SLA adherence is central to success in this position.
To be successful as Senior Application Support, you should have experience with:
Navigating and troubleshooting UNIX-based environments using command-line and scripting, and monitoring batch jobs with tools such as Control-M or Autosys
Writing and optimizing SQL queries, validating data, and troubleshooting across relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Supporting Java-based applications, including JVM monitoring, log analysis, and debugging application-level incidents
Working with AWS services including EC2, S3, and CloudWatch, and applying SRE practices such as SLIs, SLOs, and incident response
Using automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Python scripting to streamline deployments and reduce manual effort
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of ITIL practices including incident triage, problem resolution, and root cause analysis
Coordinating application deployments, managing change windows, and preparing rollback plans
Communicating technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating across development, infrastructure, and business teams
Creating and maintaining runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to support operational continuity
Awareness of application security practices, audit logging, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $115,000
Maximum Salary: $160,00
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
