What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks International Mobility, HR in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

1.    Participate in planning for the budget on a global basis for the International Mobility Team and through the use of bespoke, internal systems and finance applications ensure timely and accurate payments are made to colleagues and vendors that meet with agreed governance framework.
2.    Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
3.    Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
4.    Participate in the Purchase order process to ensure the correct levels are set, work with global team to monitor any changes in demand and usage that would impact the funds available and provide forecasts on spending patterns for the Barclays entities.
5.    Produce reports required for regulatory submission, including benefit spend for senior leadership, all costs associated with relocation for staff and new hires.
6.    Coordinate relationships with external vendors and their finance teams so all payments are made timely and are accurate.
7.    Utilize experience gained overseas working for the Asia mobility team to ensure the IM function works closely with internal clients and external vendors to facilitate colleague movements.
8.    Assist with HR focused events such as Town Halls to introduce and work with new vendors together with being representative for the IM team in the US.
9.    May Telecommute.

Purpose of the role

To manage guide and monitor all HR aspects related to internationally mobile colleagues, provide technical expertise on cross border mobility issues, and support seamless transitions to deliver a positive employee experience, including education on global mobility practices. 

Accountabilities

  • Design and implementation of international relocation and assignment processes and guiding practices across the organisation, ensuring that these are enabled by supporting technology where appropriate.
  • Provide expert guidance on international mobility and cross border working, including elements relevant to reward and benefits, pensions, payroll, social security, medical schemes, differing legal requirements, taxes and immigration issues.
  • Management, execution and support of international mobility services to ensure seamless transitions and improved employee experience, including management of external service providers to support delivery of international mobility services.
  • Monitoring of international mobility practices to ensure they are fair, consistent, and transparent across the organisation.
