Barclays Services Corp seeks Application Support Engineer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
1. Utilize comprehensive knowledge of computer programming and development skills in order to create, modify, and test codes, forms, and scripts of applications for the Investment Bank’s (IB) Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Run-The-Bank (RTB) team.
2. Provide application support for the operations of CCAR processing that supports the firm’s critical IHC (INTERMEDIATE HOLDING COMPANY) and CCAR deliveries for regulatory commitments with U.S. Federal Reserve.
3. Responsible for around 30 application suites that support the Company’s critical IHC and CCAR deliveries for regulatory commitments with U.S. Federal Reserve.
4. Required to troubleshoot issues, lead technical investigations and support Barclays’ platform by debugging complex code units and concluding investigations utilizing Stored Procedures, Perl, Shell, Scripts, Autosys, and Schedules.
5. Work closely with Business, Development, Risk and Control, and support vendors to facilitate the successful daily operations of the applications under CCAR.
6. Provide frontline Batch Support and will be responsible for monitoring and resolving application and batch failures for the RTB dashboard.
7. Raise problem tickets for batch issues and systems bugs reported by business users.
8. Link the incident tickets to problem tickets, link post release issues to change/problem, and track the status of tickets until they are resolved.
9. May telecommute.
