What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Security Engineer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

  • Lead on the design, development, and delivery of product roadmaps to support the evolution of core security services.

  • Participate and take responsibility for successful implementation of security operations requirements into solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.

  • Work closely with teams to enhance, upgrade, and uplift existing services and provide Level-3 engineering support to collaborate with delivery leads on resource planning and management.

  • Follow best engineering practices and strive for technical excellence in delivering cybersecurity services.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Endpoint Security technologies.

  • Operate, configure, and fine-tune endpoint detection logic, policies, and signatures.

  • May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]

Minimum Salary: $172,827 per year

Maximum Salary: $190,110 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the banks systems and sensitive information.  

Accountabilities

  • Provision of subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns.
  • Development and implementation of protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Management and protection of secrets, ensuring that they are securely generated, stored, and used.
  • Execution of audits to monitor, identify and assess vulnerabilities in the banks infrastructure/software and support the response to potential security breaches.
  • Identification of advancements in to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.
  • Collaboration across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Development/ Implementation and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
