What will you be doing?

•    On behalf of a global financial services organization, utilize software development lifecycle process knowledge to develop Ab Initio Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to turn business requirements into IT data solutions, including designing data pipelines from beginning to integration with application and database endpoints 
•    Design and implement Data integration and Data Warehouse-based solutions using Hadoop platform
•    Build centralized data lake to create the capability of self-exploratory data analysis for data scientists 
•    Develop centralized product-level data warehouses to assist with performance of monetary, risk, and finance reporting
•    Design metadata lineage and data catalogs to understand data movement and lineage within the data warehouse and data lake to meet governing policies 
•    Build controls on top of data pipelines to ensure pipelines are meeting governance and compliance rules and audit as well
•    Develop micro service ETL IT architecture consisting of cloud computing technology stack and work through and remove the scalability issues
•    Design security policies across data access to ensure there is high level of security
•    Build IT requirements for implementation and resolve issues on path back to BAU operations
•    Support data analysis by optimizing SQL queries and provide technically sound solutions for the ingestion, storage and presentation of enterprise data including ETL design, data storage strategies, data access and security
•    Develop, design, code and perform unit testing of complex software components for new or enhanced IT systems to a high level of quality, producing appropriate documentation while performing cost benefit analysis by driving the design of scalable solutions while considering all recoverable and resiliency requirements
•    Employ agile techniques such as task estimation, test automation, deployment automation to enhance overall execution speed and product quality

What we’re looking for:

•    Requires Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related technical field and one (1) year of experience in role offered, as a Full Stack Engineer, Computer Programmer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation
•    In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the above stated fields and three (3) years of experience in the above stated occupations

Must have one (1) year of experience with: 

•    Performing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) development tasks using Talend and Informatica
•    Using Oracle and Teradata to optimize SQL queries for data processing and analysis in relational databases
•    Using Bash Scripting, Python and R to develop code to process data from various source systems; and 
•    Performing data modeling/warehousing tasks, including designing pipelines for data ingestion and data processing to reduce redundancies
