Join Barclays as a Portfolio Insights Analyst, where you will drive acquisitions strategy and optimize investment decisions for the Travel card business. You'll drive profitable new account growth and optimize investment decisions across offer, targeting, and partner risk/reward valuations. Additionally, you will provide analytical support to key partners in the Travel business to identify business opportunities, and work with cross functional teams to support business strategy and stakeholder management.

To be successful as a Portfolio Insights Analyst, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience in either Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or related field

  • Excellent analytical, technical and statistical skills

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Graduate studies, Masters or PHD 

  • Experience in Marketing Analytics or Credit Risk within credit card industry

  • Superior communication skills with proven leadership qualities

This role is located in either Wilmington, DE or New York.

Minimum Salary: $90,000

Maximum Salary: $120,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, developing robust decision models, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders across the departments. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification and extraction of relevant data from various internal and external sources.
  • Performing sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the performance of existing models.
  • Development and implementation of data quality control procedures.
  • Building and validation of quantitative models to support decision-making across different business areas.
