Explore locationBarclays is seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Lead to join our Group Economic Crime function, supporting Financial Crime Screening operations across Payments, Customer Screening, and Adverse Media. This role is critical in ensuring our global teams in the UK and India are equipped with high-quality, compliant, and effective training.
To be successful as a Training Lead, you should have:
Demonstrable experience applying L&D industry best practice to design, deliver, assure, or govern training programmes in a regulated environment.
Previous experience owning learning effectiveness measurements.
Experience governing training in line with policy and regulatory expectations.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience coaching or leading subject-matter experts (SMEs) to build professional L&D capability.
The ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively under regulatory or operational pressure.
Solid operational knowledge of financial crime and screening operations, with experience applying learning solutions in highly regulated environments.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be located at our Glasgow or Bournemouth office.
