As a trader, you will interact directly with clients, providing them with insights and solutions based on your knowledge of the markets. Your ability to assess and manage risks is crucial, as you’ll be navigating the complexities of currency trading and making real-time decisions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with quantitative teams and risk managers, contributing to both strategic planning and the resolution of technical challenges.
To be successful as an Electronic FX Trader, you should have experience with:
Strong proficiency in Python; Java is a plus
Data analysis and quantitative/data science expertise
Understanding of financial markets and market microstructure
Familiarity with currency (FX) markets and trading systems
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Strong communication skills, especially technical communication with clients and internal teams
Problem-solving mindset for identifying and addressing issues in trading systems
Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our New York, New York office.
Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To execute trades and manage risk within a defined portfolio of financial instruments and staying informed about market trends and developments to make informed trading decisions.
