Explore locationJoin us as a DevOps Engineer at Barclays, where you will focus to bridge the gap between development and operations for various business areas like Post Trade Technology, Wholesale Lending, CRM, and Sales.
You will streamline software delivery and maintenance across these departments by implementing automation, collaboration tools, and a culture of shared responsibility. This fosters faster deployment cycles, improved software quality, and a more efficient workflow for all involved.
To be successful as a DevOps Engineer, you should have experience with:
•Linux fundamentals
•Scripting/programming in languages like Java, Groovy, Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks
•CI/CD tools with expert knowledge of tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
•Previous exposure to DevSecOps principles (code analysis, vulnerability assessment), and monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Nagios, etc.)
•Experience with version management tools (Git, Github, GitLab, Policy as code)
• Solid grasp of Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, etc.)

This role will be based in our Prague office.
