Explore locationJoin us as a Site Reliability Engineer at Barclays, where you'll help to shape a true modernization of all aspects SRE in this unique opportunity with the greenfield ASGARD project. This role offers the rare ability to build and shape a critical pillar within our organization, redefining our approach to site reliability engineering. We aim to standardize practices across electronic trading, this position will be instrumental in establishing the SRE frameworks and strategies that will drive our operations.
To be successful as a Site Reliability Engineer, you should have experience with:
•Python programming language or with Go
• Supporting large scale application deployment with Ansible or SaltStack and proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or TeamCity)
•Observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Some other highly valued skills may include:
•Working knowledge of Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle
•Hands-on experience with containerization technologies
• Knowledge of Linux or other UNIX-based systems

This role will be based in our Prague office
