In this role, you will have an exciting chance to be designing and developing critical components that form the very core of the Equities Electronic Trading business: Smart Order Routing and Algorithmic Trading strategies. You will be given a unique opportunity to become a member of a global multinational agile team of experienced engineers and learn new technologies and skills.
To be successful as an Algo Java Developer you should have experience with
- Core Java in a commercial environment.
- Linux or other UNIX-based systems.
- Analysing submitted code and infer issues.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience in building trading applications.
- Knowledge of equities markets, execution algorithms, smart order routing.
- Experience with market data or exchange connectivity protocols.
- Knowledge of C++ and/or UNIX scripting.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The successful candidate will work from our Prague office.
