Embark on a transformative journey as VP – Engineering Lead, Private Bank & Wealth Management (PBWM) in Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) as the Engineering Manager (VP) for Valpre, our flagship colleague experience platform that unifies CLM journeys through a single, “build once, use everywhere” framework. Valpre simplifies fragmented colleague journeys, consolidates 20+ touchpoints, and accelerates onboarding and servicing across PBWM. You will lead the engineering squads building and operating Valpre—spanning the WebApp Bridge, micro‑frontends, xAPI/entitlements, domain APIs, and the central API Gateway—to deliver secure, resilient, high‑quality experiences for PBWM bankers and operations colleagues worldwide.
To be successful as a VP Engineering Lead, you should have experience with:
Proven experience leading and managing DevOps / platform engineering teams & driving delivery and reliability outcomes.
Strong ability to mentor engineers and build high-performing DevOps and SRE capabilities.
Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Strong expertise in container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/OpenShift (ApaaS).
Proficient in Helm for Kubernetes application packaging, deployment, and configuration management.
Experience deploying, scaling, and operating cloud-native applications on AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Experience with database versioning and schema migration tools such as Liquibase.
Knowledge of API Gateway patterns, service routing, authentication, and traffic management.
Strong understanding of observability practices including logging, monitoring, and alerting (Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Working knowledge of Linux systems, shell scripting, and automation for platform operations.
Good understanding of security, compliance, and DevSecOps practices in regulated environments & Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud‑native and microservices-based architectures, with a focus on scalability and resilience.
