To be successful as a “Java Developer", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience in Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x (Spring MVC, Spring Security).
Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of Design Principles (OOP, SOLID, clean architecture.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins) and DevOps practices
Expertise in unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito).
Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization.
Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server) and SQL queries.
Awareness and practical adoption of AI-aware engineering practices (using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and productivity improvement).
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Familiarity with observability tools (Elastic, Kibana, logging & monitoring) experience with AWS/cloud platforms.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and streaming (Kafka/MQs).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and financial/regulated domains.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in financial services or regulated environments.
Knowledge of UI technologies will be an added advantage.
This role will be based out of Pune.
