To be successful as aPerformance Engineer , you should have experience with:
Proficient in BDD/Gherkin (Cucumber, Selenium) and UI automation frameworks using Java, with ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts across MQ, Kafka, and file-based integration patterns.
Strong functional testing experience across ST/SIT/E2E with good understanding of defect management, test execution for distributed systems in regulated banking environments, aligned to Agile and STLC practices, and working knowledge of JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
Good understanding of Liquidity Management or Core Banking (Sweeping, Pooling, Payments, Accounts/Receivables, Deposits etc) with ability to contribute to quality activities, support shift-left practices, and collaborate effectively within testing teams.
Desirable Skills:
Exposure to AI/ML tools for test optimization and willingness to learn emerging test automation techniques to improve efficiency.
Experience testing environments that combine SaaS platforms and internally built applications with familiarity in technologies like Kafka, Spring, OpenShift, Angular, or Corporate Banking systems.
Working knowledge of ETL testing, MongoDB, API automation, test environment setup, and basic performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

The role is based out of Pune.

To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
