As a part of team of developers, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions.
To be successful as a Platform Engineer – Cloud you should have experience with:
Programming Languages: Python, PySpark, SQL, Shell scripting.
Big Data Tools: Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Sqoop, Oozie, Delta Lake.
Cloud Platforms: AWS (S3, RDS, EC2), Snowflake, Databricks.
DevOps Tools: GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
Data Warehousing & Integration: Redshift, MongoDB, Glue, Kafka.
Design and develop scalable data pipelines using PySpark for structured and unstructured data.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Optimize Spark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to meet analytics and reporting needs.
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.
Support integration with GitLab pipelines and Grafana monitoring for compliance and operational visibility.
Contribute to resolving delivery blockers such as schema evolution and development environment limitations.
Some other highly valued skills includes:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience in data engineering or big data development.
Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Databricks Spark Developer are highly valued

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
