To be successful as a Platform Engineer you should possess:
Proficiency in cloud technologies – AWS, Kubernetes, Docker. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation.
Ability to work with AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs to build and manage cloud-native platforms.
Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Maven.
Solid understanding of container orchestration and modern platform engineering practices.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Ansible. Strong scripting and automation skills (preferred: Python / Bash / Go)
Knowledge of Helm charts and GitOps-based deployment models. Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as ESaaS, Observe, Grafana etc.
Understanding of building secure, scalable, and reliable platforms in an enterprise environment. Please let me know if any refinement is required.

This role is based in Pune.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
