Embark your transformative journey as Tech Delivery Lead for Global Pricing Tool a multi-year programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering changes by following Agile practices into the Global Pricing Tool application, ensuring the standards are adhered to and exceeded and that all project requirements are met. In addition, as a senior developer they will be responsible for supporting and managing junior development team members to ensure the continual growth of the team and identification and implementation of development process improvements and innovations. The role is required to interact with various teams during requirement definition like business, product, operations, finance, risk and compliance to understand the requirements. The role is expected to interact with the application vendor to define and clarify the requirements that are captured.  The role is also expected to interact with various dependent application teams in the landscape.  The role is expected to bring in clarity to the interactions between other systems and the pricing Tool. Technical delivery lead is responsible for managing the delivery from start to finish. They will coordinate with the development team, testing team and stakeholders across teams and business to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the project goals. Ensuring the team are clear on the project timeframes, expectations, and goals. The role is responsible for identifying and managing risks that may affect the project's success. They must have the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. To understand dependencies which could impact the project in their development lifecycle and resolve them.

To be successful as VP Tech Delivery Lead, you should have experience with:

  • They should be Graduate / Postgraduate.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft.Net, C#, MVC and Web Services.
  • In-depth knowledge of a core programming language like Java, JavaScript etc. with experience of developing enterprise applications.
  • Should be able to lead teams, resource planning , manage stakeholders etc.

 Some other highly valued skills may include.

  • Knowledge of Reference data
  • Experience in Wholesale lending.
  • Experience in DevOps implementation and ability to continually identify automation and integration opportunities to continuous improvement in application development processes.

Purpose of the role

To manage the efficient delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, adhering to agreed time, budget and quality requirements. 

Accountabilities

  • Management of the delivery, resource allocation and improvement of complex technical project capabilities across the bank using Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and the execution of sprints.
  • Collaboration with customers and business teams to manage and implement customer trails to support the proposal of technically feasible solutions, and effort and timeline expectations.
  • Collaboration with software engineers, quality teams, product managers and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle aligned to the banks objectives, regulation and security policies.
  • Identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with technical projects to prepare the bank for potential challenges.
  • Management of change requests and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Management of vendor relations involved in technical projects to ensure they deliver according to agreed terms.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improving deliver outcomes and to foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence and growth.
