Embark on a transformative journey as a Vice President Data Modeler/Architect, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of colleague experience team by being a key role championing the users and customers of HR products and services, focusing on driving improvement in experience, effectiveness, efficiency and control. Working with Head of Digital and Experience Leads, CoE teams, technology teams and stakeholders inside and outside of HR to deliver value through agile delivery teams. Working with them to understand benchmarking, process improvements and lead the delivery team and interfacing with Tech partners. Leading the ongoing drive to transform colleague and people leader experiences, championing their needs and a collaborative, data led way of working throughout the delivery of HR Journeys. Additionally, ensuring compliance in service delivery is also a key responsibility.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
Proven experience in data modeling, data architecture, or database design roles.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into logical, conceptual, and physical data models.
Experience in developing and optimizing data models with industry standard tools as well in implementing data quality rules.
Strong knowledge of data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Data Architect).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB).
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and business intelligence.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in working on large-scale data projects in requirements gathering as well as in data analysis and modelling.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Starburst, Iceberg, DBT, object store, Databricks and Airflow.
Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), TOGAF, or DAMA-CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) are good to have.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
