Barclays Services Corp. seeks Lead UI Developer – AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
Create intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for web applications in accordance with federal design standards and best practices.
Understand Payments domain, PAIN ISO messages to design the system accordingly.
Review and design system security standards by implementing Digital signing process, analytics, Single-sign-on and fraud prevention.
Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, providing guidance on coding standards, best practices, and troubleshooting.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of front-end development projects, including setting project milestones, managing timelines, and coordinating resources.
Ensure all front-end development adheres to compliance standards and other relevant regulations.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and design mockups into functional web interfaces, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
Implement front-end optimization techniques to enhance the performance and loading times of web applications, considering potential constraints of government networks.
Ensure compatibility across various browsers and platforms commonly used within federal agencies.
Conduct thorough accessibility and usability testing and address any identified issues to guarantee a high level of user satisfaction and compliance with federal accessibility standards.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for front-end code, ensuring it is well-documented for future reference and potential audits.
Collaborate with back-end developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to a cohesive development process.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in front-end development, especially those relevant to the federal sector.
Implement best practices using code review tools to ensure the quality and find early defects during development stage.
Manage up to 3 direct reports of Cloud Engineer, UI front-end Developer and UX Developer, overseeing their work to ensure business deliverables are met timely and accurately.
May telecommute.
Minimum Salary: $179,982 per year
Maximum Salary: $197,980 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
