Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Risk and Control Analyst within the US Global Corporate Operations Support/Risk and Control team. Reporting to the VP of Governance, Risk, and Control for Global Payments North America, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing operational governance. This includes oversight of user access and logical access controls, ensuring adherence to RCSA requirements, the Manual Payment Principal Policy, and relevant SOPs. You’ll also support governance-related quality assurance activities to help maintain operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
To be successful in your role as a Risk & Control Analyst, you should have:
Project management experience or logical conclusions
Thorough understanding of Risk and Control in an operational area, at a similar level
Basic knowledge of operational Risk and Control activities and governance structure
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Database processing
Experience supporting key stakeholders (Banking Operations, High Value Payment Processing, Low Value Payments Processing, Letter of Credit, Payment Investigations and Transformation)
Other highly desirable skills include:
Validated record of meeting processing deadlines
Basic knowledge payment schemes Risk and Control
Working knowledge of ORAC and basic knowledge of systems used by GPNA
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary: $75,000.00
Maximum Salary $95,000.00
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To monitor quality standards and policies and support the implementation of these across all operational processes. To collaborate with control owners to execution Risk Control Self Assessments (RSCA) that measure the effectiveness of controls.
