Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Securitized Products Trading

Our team implements a best-in-class platform for all Securitized Products business workflows using a combination of Angular, Java and other technologies. 

To be successful as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Securitized Products Trading, you should have:

• Expertise as a programmer with a passion for clean, efficient code using Object Oriented Design principals

• Significant Experience developing with Java on AWS, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, Kafka, Spring Boot, Springboot, Apache Camel

• Good understanding of multithreading and memory/compute optimization algorithms

• Hands-on experience in MongoDB and ability to write complex queries/aggregations in MongoDB

• Experience interacting comfortably with Front Office users to gather requirements and present solutions

Other highly valued skills include:

• Experience working with state management technology such as Redux

• Exposure in creating real time systems using Angular and Web Sockets

• Ability and insight to design and implement intuitive UI screens

• Interest in developing a deep understanding of the Securitized Products business

This role is located in our Whippany, New Jersey office.

Minimum Salary: $120,000

Maximum Salary: $175,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
