Explore locationJoin Barclays – In your new role as a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you’ll play a vital part in protecting the integrity of our operations. You’ll support a range of Transaction Monitoring processes, from reconciling data sources that may trigger case openings or suspicious activity reports (SARs), to tracking and escalating technology issues and monitoring daily production metrics. Working closely with Transaction Monitoring operations team leaders, you’ll help ensure critical functions are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll also contribute to investigations and reviews for higher‑risk customers, including alert analysis, SAR drafting, enhanced due diligence (EDD), and politically exposed persons (PEP) reviews. In addition, you’ll conduct independent suspicious activity investigations, perform new account screenings, and review sanctions and PEP screening results — making a direct impact on safeguarding Barclays and supporting its long‑term resilience.
To be successful in your role as a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you should have:
Experience in Credit Cards, Risk & Control, Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering or Lending
Experience in a Transaction Monitoring capacity and knowledge of investigative techniques used in the investigation of financial crimes, preferably prior PEP experience
Validated Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
The ability to multi-task and work contending priorities

Previous OFAC/Transaction Monitoring responsibilities & compliance
Previous USA PATRIOT Act monitoring responsibilities & compliance
Previous KYC, CDD & EDD research, documentation & verification responsibilities
Professional BSA or Transaction Monitoring certification(s)

This role is located in Whippany, NJ, secondary location in Wilmington, DE.

Minimum Salary: $64,000.00
Maximum Salary: $87,000.00
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
