Explore locationEmbark on a transformative journey as a UI Software Engineer – Securitized Products Electronic Trading. At Barclays, our vision is clear – to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. The Securitized Products area is increasing their investment in Electronic Trading, and this role will be pivotal in building the user interface. Working directly with Trading and Sales, you will be part of a high performing team that will implement a best-in-class electronic trading system using a combination of Java, Angular, .NET and other technologies. This is an exciting chance to work on a notable project in a rapidly evolving environment.
To be successful as a UI Software Engineer – Securitized Products Electronic Trading, you should have:
Considerable experience programmer with a passion for clean, efficient code using Object Oriented Design principals
Knowledge creating real time systems using Angular and Web Sockets
Experience interacting with the Front Office users to gather requirements and present solutions
Insight to design and implement intuitive UI screens
The drive to fully understand the Securitized Products electronic trading workflow
Other highly valued skills include:
Experience working with state management technology such as Redux
Experience working with C#, WPF and other .NET technologies
Familiarity with Mongo DB
Understanding of Fixed Income products and electronic trading workflow, especially RFQ
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ a secondary location in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
