Explore locationJoin us as a Senior Platform Engineer at Barclays, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You’ll support large community of ~5000 engineers, creating progressive tooling, frameworks and patterns to adopt in their work to enable quicker, more efficient and effective releases of software up to Production, while continuously increasing its quality.
To be successful as a Senior Platform Engineer, you should have experience with:
• General DevOps expertise with primary focus towards CI/CD pipelines and toolset such as GitLab, Sonarqube, Artifactory/Nexus, Wiz
• Scripting – Bash, Python, Powershell, with ability and desire to learn new languages on the job
• Programming – either Go, Java or .NET stack. Open mind to embrace new technology
• Container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Public Cloud experience – AWS (ideally), Azure
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-a-Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, CloudFormation
• Experience with Observability / Monitoring technologies like ELK stack, Grafana, etc.
• Accountability, sense of ownership and “Getting job done” mindset.

This role will be based in our Prague office.
