Join us as a Bulk Payment Engine Senior Developer – VP, where you will play a pivotal role in engineering the foundational and non-functional components for International Disbursement Proposition, one of the tenants on inhouse built Payments Platform. You will contribute to a multi‑year modernization journey, transforming a legacy monolithic architecture into a cloud‑native, scalable, resilient ecosystem supporting revenue‑critical operations across APAC, EMEA, and AMER. This role requires a hands‑on technologist with deep expertise in Java, Spring boot, Kafka, Bulk Payment platform and able to work front‑to‑back with global teams. You will build the multiple reusable core functional and technical foundations for Payments Platform —ensuring the platform is resilient, secure, observable, and performance‑optimized. Candidates who add strength in areas such Microservices Messaging & API Architecture, Performance tuning would be highly preferred.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
- Designing and delivering cloud native, event driven, Java and Spring boot based microservices aligned architectures using RedHat Open Shift, Kafka, Oracle, MongoDB, Apache Drools, IBM MQ and fully aligned to Enterprise Architecture Patterns.
- Some additional skills needed are Transaction Management, Performance Tuning, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Building bulk processing high throughput engines.
- Driving strong engineering discipline — code reviews, automated validation, performance tuning, observability, and enterprise grade CI/CD practices.
- Partnering with global architects and senior stakeholders to convert conceptual designs into production ready components, and leading Agile delivery with clear requirements, estimation, and end to end ownership.
- Ensuring production readiness across resilience, monitoring, alerting, data integrity, and operational stability, while supporting RTB operations through incident triage, RCA, and robust fixes.
